The Sony Vlog camera ZV-1 II with ZEISS Vario-Sonnar T* 18-50 mm is great for selfies or for portraits and snapshots. In addition, the maximum aperture of F1.8 with the wide-angle lens and F4 with the telephoto lens offers soft background bokeh, adding the right atmosphere to the scene. No initial experience is necessary to make impressive vlogs. Forget post-production editing: just touch the screen to turn moments from your daily life into cinematic images. You can add the perfect touch of color to your shots by selecting from one of five LOOKs and four MOODs for instant professional results. Use the AF transition speed by selecting from three available levels to choose the focus speed and add intensity to the scene. The large 1-inch image sensor allows you to shoot professional-quality video in XAVC S format at 4K resolution up to 30p, or take expressive slow-motion images up to 120p in Full HD resolution. It also supports simultaneous proxy recording for efficient editing streams in post-production.
Focus on what you want. Activate Real Time Tracking to follow your subject. The camera recognizes the subject’s colors, brightness, and distance, as well as facial information, to start tracking so you can focus on the best shot. Just touch the subject on the screen to activate Tracking touch and keep it in focus. The ZEISS Vario-Sonnar T* 18-50 mm F1.8-4 zoom lens is designed specifically for travel vlogs. It features a built-in neutral density (ND) filter that adjusts light exposure in three stops, providing more expressiveness to images in bright light. The lens ensures maximum sharpness throughout the entire zoom range to give you vlogs that come to life.
The Sony GP-VPT2BT handgrip with wireless remote control for Sony cameras is carefully designed to provide optimal stability and comfort when attached to a mirrorless or compact interchangeable lens camera. The remote control buttons are easily accessible while holding the grip for smooth and intuitive operation. When a compatible camera is attached, the remote controls for taking photos and movies can be operated by holding the grip normally, without having to touch the camera. Any function assigned to the C1 button on the camera can also be invoked via the C1 button on the grip. Bluetooth wireless communication means that no cables are needed to transmit control signals from the grip to the camera: just frame and shoot, without the hindrance of cables. A quick tilt function makes it easy to set the camera angle, ideal for a wide range of subjects and viewpoints. Whether taking selfies or capturing a subject, the tilt function allows you to take photos without having to assume awkward postures. If you extend the built-in legs of the Sony GP-VPT2BT handle, you get a handy and stable tripod, leaving both hands free for vlogging and other applications.
