The Sony FX30 Cinema Line compact gateway camcorder with XLR handle captures stunning images with 6K oversampling and a cinematic look. With its compact size, you can take it with you at all times. Advanced AF and stabilization features let you focus only on composition, forgetting about crew and rig.
The XLR handle offers two XLR audio inputs to facilitate high-quality audio recording. With an optional XLR microphone, digital audio data can be transferred directly to the camera for exceptional audio quality without noise or loss of signal quality. There is also a 3.5 mm stereo mini-jack for 4-channel recording to provide compatibility with 2-channel and 4-channel audio formats.
FX30’s S-Cinetone image profile offers a gorgeous cinematic look. Level colors, skin tones and other aspects without the need for retouching or color grading in post-production. Features such as dual base ISO and Cine EI enable gorgeous images for cinematic shooting and workflows.
FX30’s backlit APS-C Exmor™ R CMOS sensor captures memorable images exceptional resolution and shallow depth-of-field. 6K oversampling compresses data into 4K outputs and footage; BIONZ XR™ processor delivers natural hues, realistic color reproduction, reduced noise and other visual enhancements.
The Sony FX30 Cinema Line compact gateway camcorder with XLR handle can internally record 4:2:2 10-bit video with All-Intra or Long GOP compression to deliver even more color information for richer, more natural gradations in post-production.
Cine EI offers wide latitude and the best image quality, while Cine EI Quick simplifies setup by automatically changing the camera’s ISO base. Flexible ISO provides the most flexibility for exposure settings. Compact and lightweight, FX30 can be used with gimbals, drones, and a wide variety of attachable equipment. It is designed to stand up to the longest sessions, with a rugged body that withstands extreme conditions.
While shooting, you can access frame rate, shutter speed and other essential parameters from the main list menu. The main menu display can be assigned to a custom button to quickly check and change parameters as needed before you start shooting. Separate main menus optimized for photo and video are also available.
