Sony digital XLR dual-channel audio adapter kit with microphone enables microphones and other audio sources to be connected to cameras equipped with the Multi Interface shoe. Released together with the a7R IV, which benefits from the built-in digital audio interface, the adapter is able to produce its best quality by providing a digital audio stream directly to the camera via the Multi Interface shoe. Other Sony cameras with the standard MI shoe can still use the microphone as there is a selectable digital/analogue output. The XLR-K3M has two XLR-1/4″ mic/line combo inputs with 48V phantom power and a 3.5mm stereo input with plug-in power, all with individual level controls. Intuitive controls make the adapter easy to use right from the start. An ECM-XM1 shotgun is included to immediately start recording YouTube videos, Facebook Live streams and interviews, at home, in the studio or on the road.
