Full-Frame Sensor
The α7C camera’s full-frame sensor offers a significant advantage over smaller sensors, such as those in smartphones or cameras with APS-C sensors. With a much larger light-capturing area, the sensor allows for higher quality images, minimizing noise and preserving more detail in varying light situations, from shadows to bright lights. Thanks to the sensor size, which is more than twice that of an APS-C sensor and up to 30 times larger than that of a smartphone, the α7C is able to produce photographs rich in depth and definition.
Versatility
Increased shooting options
Ranging from wide-angle to telephoto, compact full-frame lenses enable high-quality, distortion-free images, even at long focal lengths. Thanks to the shallow depth of field, impressive bokeh effects, a distinctive feature of full-frame cameras, can be achieved. In addition, the full-pixel readout capability allows video to be recorded with an oversampling equivalent to 6K, minimizing visual defects such as moiré. Support for the S-Log3 profile offers a dynamic range of 14 stops, allowing details to be captured in both highlights and shadows, optimizing post-production possibilities.

Autofocus and continuous shooting performance
The Sony Alpha A7C with FE 28-60 mm lens is designed to capture every moment in sharp detail, even during the fastest action. With advanced AF and high-speed continuous shooting capability, you’ll never miss an important split second. The image stabilization system ensures stable shooting, eliminating blur in both stills and video. With 693 phase detection focus points covering 93% of the field of view, the α7C offers fast and accurate autofocus over a wide range of scenes. In addition, the camera is capable of shooting up to 10 fps with AF/AE tracking and up to 8 fps in Live View mode.
