The Sony FE 20mm F1.8 G Sony E-mount – Photography lens has a 9-bladed circular aperture for smooth, even bokeh and natural reflections, the hallmarks of the G lens. Sony’s latest optical technology achieves outstanding corner-to-angle resolution with the maximum F1.8 aperture in an ultra-wide-angle, fixed focal length, wide-aperture lens. It is also remarkably compact. Combined with an E-mount body, this lens forms a mobile system with outstanding AF performance, control and reliability for a wide variety of shooting needs. In addition to its large focal length for selfies of 20 mm, this lens boasts a minimum focusing distance of only 0.19 meters when used in AF mode and 0.18 meters when used manually. It is an excellent choice for gimbal/handgrip mounting, both for taking selfies and for other subjects. The focus lock button is convenient to reach, easy to use and can be assigned to other functions from a menu accessible from the camera body. This lens also balances well on smaller APS-C format bodies, providing a very useful wide-angle focal length of 30 mm.
