Camera and lens mount adapters allow you to use lenses from another brand, or another photographic system, on your mirrorless camera. In its simplest version, it consists of two different mounts, one for the camera system and the other for the lens system. The most advanced adapters, as well as the electronic ones, allow the camera body to communicate with the lens and maintain all the functions of the lenses, including exposure and focus automatisms. In addition, for systems using 4/3 or APS-C sensors, the lens mount adapters restore the original focal length of the lens, cancelling the multiplication effect due to the smaller size of the sensor.
