QUALITY
Outstanding image quality
The Sony Alpha offers outstanding image quality, thanks to its Exmor R CMOS backlit sensor and BIONZ X processor. This system ensures a wide dynamic range and reduces noise even at high ISO, enabling sharp and detailed images in low light conditions. The hybrid focus system with 693 phase detection points contributes to precision, capturing fast-moving subjects with clarity. Support for the 14-bit RAW format preserves colour depth and provides flexible post-production for professional images.
FORMATS
Wide range of recording formats
The Sony Alpha supports high quality video and photo formats. For video, it offers 4K (3840 x 2160) recording at 30 fps, using the full-frame sensor with oversampling, improving sharpness and detail. It also supports Full HD formats up to 120 fps for smooth slow-motion shooting. For stills, it shoots in 14-bit JPEG and RAW formats, offering flexibility for post-production. Its wide dynamic range and ability to reproduce realistic colours make the A7 III ideal for professional videographers and photographers alike.
AUTOFOCUS
Advanced focusing
The Sony Alpha offers an advanced focusing system with 693 phase-detection AF points, covering approximately 93% of the frame, ensuring high precision even in low-light conditions. In addition, the camera uses Eye AF technology, which maintains focus on the subject’s eyes during movement, ideal for portraits. The speed and effectiveness of autofocus tracking allows fast-moving subjects to be followed with great precision.
