Intuitive and customisable
The Allen & Heath dLive Surfaces mixers feature an intuitive, customisable design with 12″ capacitive touchscreens for smooth interaction. Rotary knobs, with RGB lighting, provide precise and immediate control. The modular configuration allows users to adapt the mixer to their specific needs, optimising ergonomics and operational efficiency when mixing.
TECHNOLOGY
DEEP Processing, Dyn8 e RackExtra FX
Allen & Heath’s dLive system is powered by the XCVI core, which uses FPGA technology with 36 virtual cores to handle 160×64 channels at 96 kHz. It includes six mixing engines, offering 128 inputs and 16 stereo FX returns, with advanced processing using DEEP zero-latency architecture. Dyn8 provides dynamic equalisation and multiband compression. In addition, the RackExtra FX portfolio combines boutique plugin quality with onboard processing, providing high performance and versatility.
INPUTS and OUTPUTS
Analogue and digital I/O
Any input or mix og mixer Allen & Heath dLive Surfaces can be assigned to any fader bank and/or layer, virtual stripes allow names and colours to be assigned to inputs and mixes for instant navigation, and there are numerous assignable SoftKeys and 3 pages of 6 assignable rotaries for each screen. Thanks to the modular architecture, users can easily customise the number of analogue and digital I/Os to suit specific needs.
USER
Harmony User Interface e transparent Workflow
The dLive Surface’s touchscreens offer intuitive interaction, responding to gestures such as pinches and swipes. Custom widgets can be created to monitor scenes and controls. In addition, high-grip, RGB-illuminated rotary controls provide immediate visual feedback. The interface layout is fully customisable, allowing users to tailor the mix to their own preferences.
