The Allen & Heath AVANTIS SOLO digital audio mixer with 64 channels and 42 bus is a compact mixer capable of independent operation. It can handle 64 input channels, 42 mix busses and 400 soft patchable system inputs and outputs, all independently assigned. There are 12 rack-mounted stereo FX engines with dedicated stereo returns and 16 DCAs. The mixer contains the mixing engine. The mixing engine operates at a sampling rate of 96 kHz and uses FPGA technology for digital signal processing. The latency of the system, from analog input to output, does not exceed 0.7ms. The surface includes 12 motorized touch-sensitive with 6 levels accessible by dedicated buttons. Fader lighting is integrated into the mixer armrest and is adjustable via the software user interface. All fader strips are configurable as input channels, mixes, FX sends, FX returns, DCA masters or MIDI strips. Each fader strip has dedicated PAFL, Mix and Mute buttons with indicators and a rotary controller. 6 buttons with indicators provide global mode for rotary controls that are Gain, Pan, Sends and up to 3 custom functions. Dedicated buttons allow quick copy/paste/reset of mixes and processing parameters, pre/post and mix assignments, scene safeties, freeze-in-layers and GEQ flip fader. Other physical controls are user assignable, including a set of 3 rotary encoders and 18 user-defined buttons. A 15.6” Full-HD (1080p) capacitive touchscreen provides access to channel bank display, channel name blocks, channel processing, counters, FX, I/O, scene management, configuration, utilities, and diagnostics. Channel name blocks display the name, color, type, number, status, pan, gain, trim, metering, processor gain reduction, and other parameters of each visible channel.
