In addition to the 4 phono/line channels, the Xone:43 features a switchable Mic/Line channel with XLR (mono) and RCA (stereo) inputs located directly on the bridge, 2-band EQ and volume control. The 3 settable fade curves for the crossfader make it possible to adapt to the various needs of the club DJ, from normal mixing to scratching. In addition, those looking for ultimate performance perfection can install the optional Innofader crossfader (sold separately) for state-of-the-art performance. Replacing or upgrading the crossfader is extremely simple and can be done directly by the user. The Xone:43 also features the renowned analogue Voltage Control Filter (VCF) that has made the Xone series of mixers famous, which consists of a multi-mode filter that can be set at the user’s discretion as a High Pass Filter (HPF), Band Pass Filter (BPF), or Low Pass Filter (LPF) with independent Cut-Off and Resonance controls. The filter can be assigned to one of the 4 channels by means of a switch. The X:FX routing allows the immediate connection of external multi-effects – such as those from Korg’s Kaoss Pad series – which can be used on each of the mixer’s 4 channels by sending them the signal via the Dry/Wet potentiometer. The X:FX signal can also be routed to the filter input to create special processing chains.
