The Sony Alpha a7R IV A full-frame 62.5 Megapixel features impressive still image and video performance and versatility. This fourth edition of the a7R sees the inclusion of an upgraded 61 MP Exmor R BSI CMOS sensor and an advanced BIONZ X image processor, which delivers impressive imaging results with a pronounced smoothness, 15-stop dynamic range and, of course, speed. Shooting at up to 10 fps is possible along with the ability to record 4K30 UHD video, both with support for Real-time Eye AF and Tracking AF technologies. The revised sensor design utilises a fast hybrid AF system with 567 phase detection autofocus points for particularly fast and accurate focusing performance. Despite being a high-resolution sensor, it also features a flexible native sensitivity range from ISO 100-32000 to work in a variety of lighting conditions. Furthermore, for the benefit of both stills and video operations, the A7RIV A retains the 5-axis SteadyShot INSIDE sensor shift image stabilisation, which is effective in minimising the appearance of camera shake by up to 5.5 stops. The Sony Alpha A7R IV A full-frame 62,5 Megapixel also features an upgraded physical design with a more robust weather sealing to accommodate work in harsh weather conditions. In terms of usability, the OLED electronic viewfinder has been upgraded to an impressive 5.76m dot resolution for clear viewing, and the 3.0-inch rear tilting touchscreen LCD has a high resolution of 2.36m dots for sharp playback, live view shooting and menu navigation. Dual SD card slots are both UHS-II rated for faster performance, and the inclusion of a USB Type C port enables tethering and fast battery charging in the camera. In addition, in ther Sony A7R4 built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi at 2.4 and 5 GHz bands enable wireless transfer and remote control of the camera from connected mobile devices.
