A remote follow focus is an auxiliary mechanism to control the lens. It is composed of a motor with gear that manages to transfer the movement of the remote control on the lens ring. There are different types of motors that should be used not only for controlling the focus on the lens but also for zooming and iris.
The system is often used in cinema, and is usually operated by an operator who has the task of adjusting the focus in the various shots.
It was my first order at Martcom and I was a little afraid, but the order arrived quickly and at a much better price than at other stores. Although it was a problem with a missing product, the problem was solved by email within a few hours, and the missing product was sent with the fastest DHL shipment.
