It is perfect for interviews and wide film shots. It is also particularly suitable for crop sensors, as it allows for the 45mm equivalent of full frame sensors. This lens, thanks to its robust and durable construction, ensures uninterrupted operation in all weather conditions. The lens is resistant to rain, sand, and dust, so it will be able to cope with any adventure whether in the desert or jungle, at any time, provided your camera will be able to cope with these environments. The lens has engraved markings filled with UV fluorescent paint that are visible even in low light, making it easier to shoot in harsh conditions. All Irix film lenses are similar in size and weight, allowing them to be replaced quickly and easily without significant configuration changes. In addition, these lenses have been equipped with the Magnetic Mounting System (MMS), which enables the use of accessories such as Irix Edge magnetic filters.
The Irix Cine 30mm lens, being a combination of traditional solutions with state-of-the-art technology, was designed according to professional film industry standards. To ensure compatibility with most accessories on the market, it has been equipped with a 95mm front filter thread and standard 0.8 follow focus gears. Irix is a relatively young brand, and with this lens, which is the fifth in the Cine series, it has created a set composed of the focal lengths characteristic of the film industry. Irix lenses have been tested and proven to meet both the highest standards and the needs of customers. In addition, the entire series has been unified, from the anti-reflective neutrino coatings, which reduce ghosting and lens flare to an absolute minimum, to the same weight and position of the gears to facilitate their interchangeability.
