Super ED and XA
ED and Super ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass elements, together with XA (extreme aspherical) elements, are integrated in an advanced optical design that effectively reduces aberrations. Combined with the floating focus system, these elements ensure excellent resolution throughout the image, maintaining sharp details in every area of the scene and throughout the depth of field.
Perfect close-up shots
Despite being a 135 mm telephoto lens, this lens’ floating focus system precisely handles aberration across the entire focal length range, allowing a minimum focus distance of only 0.7 m and a maximum magnification of 0.25x to capture close-up details. This enables images with outstanding resolution, highlighting small subjects with beautiful blurred backgrounds and exceptional visual quality.
Superior performance, convenience and reliability
This lens offers several professional features, such as customizable focus lock buttons, focus range limiter, aperture ring with selectable stops, and a dust- and moisture-resistant design.
