The Canon RC-IP1000 touchscreen IP controller for PTZ cameras is a professional device for controlling and monitoring up to 200 cameras. The controller features a 7-inch multi-function touch screen, ergonomic joystick and zoom lever, and buttons and knobs for precision control. Without the need for a PC, this professional PTZ controller boasts SDI and HDMI connectivity, as well as a 7″ multi-function touch screen, customizable buttons, dials, and an ergonomic joystick for precise control. The device allows precise adjustment of PTZ camera movements using the ergonomically designed joystick, designed to fit comfortably in the palm of the hand, for intuitive control of rotation. A customizable button on top allows even more versatility, such as AF One Shot and return to home position. With 42 buttons and 14 dials, controlled cameras can be managed using functions such as Iris, Gamma, Knee and White Balance. Backlit LEDs aid overall visibility, while the professional zoom lever ensures pinpoint accuracy in its adjustment.
The controller allows you to monitor and control Canon camera footage quickly and easily on the 7″ touch screen via IP, with up to nine cameras viewable simultaneously in different layout options. Whichever camera you choose, the touch screen automatically switches to displaying that feed in real time. Alternatively, you can send a full-screen feed to an external monitor via the 12G-SDI or HDMI port. Using RC-IP1000 camera search function, you can find and register new cameras via LAN. RC-IP1000 can change all system settings of up to 200 connected cameras, such as IP address, ID and password.
The device can perform initial camera configuration without a PC and is capable of grouping all cameras or up to ten in a group. It implements presets for multiple PTZ cameras simultaneously and controls other cameras from Canon PTZ and Cinema EOS1 ranges, as well as the XF605 professional camera. The convenient touch screen provides access to a wide range of settings, set focus points and Touch AF and face and eye detection settings; control the manual focus point; and adjust crop areas to enable two feeds from a single camera. The device also allows you to control another camera during a trace and set other positions without having to wait for the trace/preset to finish. It records and manages presets and traces by naming them via the touch screen and uses the RC-IP1000 physical button to quickly access presets and traces.
