Specifications

The Allen & Heath ZED-10 10 channel analog mixer with 4 XLR with Amplitube X-Gear software is a compact mixer for live performance and studio recording, built to a professional standard, suitable for a wide range of applications, including solo artists, bands, schools, houses of worship and conference facilities. The Allen & Heath ZED 10 comes with a full version of IK Multimedia Amplitube X-Gear, the first fully modular, customizable and expandable amp and FX modeling software system that can run as a plug-in or as a stand-alone application. The Allen & Heath ZED-10 can also handle up to four microphones and two stereo sources with compatibility with MP3 players, provides separate outputs for 2-track recording and a stereo playback input for 2-track replay or interval music from a CD player. It also has XLR main stereo outputs with inserts, full monitoring with headphones and separate outputs for monitor speakers, 48 V phantom power for microphones and DI level switching for sub mixing. There is also a USB send and return for recording, playback and effects on a PC or Mac. One of the strengths of the ZED series is the number and variety of elements that can be connected. In addition to the sixteen mono channels, there are dual stereo channels, each with a main stereo input on jacks and with additional inputs on phono jacks. The USB return of the Allen & Heath ZED-10 mixer can be selected on one of the additional inputs to feed either the main LR bus or the stereo channel.
