The Allen & Heath XONE-K2 MIDI universal controller and audio interface is a highly portable and extremely versatile professional DJ MIDI controller with a built-in four-channel sound card, suitable for the most demanding DJs who demand maximum performance and portability. The Xone:K2 allows you to control any DJ software (Mac and Windows) and features 52 hardware touch controls that provide up to 171 MIDI commands on 3 levels. The levels are dockable and can be configured so that any (or none) of the controls are assigned up to 3 functions each. The integrated professional-quality sound card can handle up to four audio channels (or 2×2 in stereo) with a headphone output on the front and RCA audio outputs on the rear. You can connect directly to powered speakers or amplifiers, to an open channel of a DJ mixer, or connect multiple Xone:K2s using the X:LINK interface. Additional Xone:K2s increase the number of audio channels and enable independent deck mixing and separate channel assignment in a DJ mixer. Xone:K2 features 52 physical controls, including 12 analogue encoders and 6 infinite rotary encoders with pressure switches, 4 linear faders and 30 backlit performance switches, providing up to 171 MIDI control commands on 3 levels. By assigning multi-level controls, up to 3 functions can be assigned to a single physical control. It is possible to configure all, some or none of the K2’s controls to be linked to the snap-in level system.
