Incorporating two 7-inch woofers, a midrange driver and ADAM Audio’s X-ART tweeter, the ADAM A77H triamplified 2-way audio studio monitor with 2 x 7″ woofer offers an ultra-wide frequency range. The addition of the midrange driver helps to produce clear sound in the most sensitive range of human hearing. The DSP-based functionality of all A Series monitors can be controlled remotely and in real time via Ethernet using A Control. Made from a new glass fibre polymer compound, the HPS waveguide allows the X-ART tweeter to disperse sound in space with controlled coherence. The new A-Series cabinets are based on the legacy of ADAM Audio and in particular the AX Series. ADAM Audio is proud to collaborate with Sonarworks on an automated room correction solution that runs directly on the DSP of the A-Series monitors. The A-Series combines the best of the digital and analogue worlds. The latest materials and advanced analysis and design processes have led to the development of our new long-throw woofers. The A Series midrange drivers deliver clean sound in the critical part of the frequency range where humans are particularly sensitive to sound colouration. A ‘Voicing’ is a predefined sound profile of an A Series monitor. On the rear panel, you will find two different selections, “UNR” and “Pure”. On the rear panel of the A-Series speakers, you’ll find four bands of room adaptation equalisation: bass, desk, presence, and treble. The A-Series harnesses the transformative power of DSP-based electronics to provide greater tuning precision than analogue-only loudspeakers.
