Combining digital signal processing with advanced beamforming technology, the microphone offers super-directional performance in a remarkably compact package that provides flexibility and mobility, even when shooting with a gimbal and handgrip. The ECM-B10 offers three types of shooting patterns in one microphone. For selfies and interviews, you can use the super-directional pattern to focus audio capture on a single subject directly in front of the camera. Switch to the unidirectional pattern for a wider shot or if you have two subjects in front of the camera. The omnidirectional pattern captures audio in a 360-degree field around the microphone, making it a smart choice for capturing ambient sounds and voices from behind the camera.
