The kit combines three integrated Zanus and Canon components: the Zanus Paulinho robotic video head, the Zanus RoboStick control joystick, and the Canon EOS R5 C camera.
The Paulinho head, featuring a compact build and payload up to 5 kg, manages fluid pan and tilt movements from 0.001 to 30°/s, with SDI, HDMI, and Ethernet pass-through connectivity for direct control room integration. The Zanus Paulinho RoboStick PTZ Kit also offers multi-axis touch-screen control — pan, tilt, zoom, focus, and iris — from a single station, featuring Trace function for automatic movement recording and playback. The Zanus RoboStick PTZ System allows simultaneous control of multiple heads from a single station, synchronizing devices from different manufacturers.
The Canon EOS R5 C adds a 45 MP full-frame sensor with up to 8K RAW 12-bit video recording, RF mount, and Canon XC protocol support, allowing the RoboStick to drive zoom, focus, and iris directly on the camera, effectively transforming it into a fully motorized PTZ.

45 MP full-frame sensor and up to 8K RAW recording
The Canon EOS R5 C brings Cinema EOS image quality to the kit in a compact body: 45 MP full-frame sensor, 12-bit DCI 8K RAW video up to 30p (60p with external power supply), and 4K/Full HD oversampling. The RF mount provides access to a wide range of RF lenses, as well as EF and Cinema lenses via adapter.
Canon XC protocol for remote control via RoboStick
Canon XC protocol support allows the RoboStick to drive zoom, focus, and iris directly on the EOS R5 C mounted on the Paulinho head, transforming the camera into a fully motorized PTZ. The multi-function shoe mount and micro-HDMI, USB-C, and audio outputs complete the control room workflow integration.
Motorized Pan Tilt with payload up to 5 kg
With L-shaped structure, payload up to 5 kg, and adjustable speed from 0.01°/s to 30°/s, the Paulinho offers smooth movements across ±175° of pan and ±180° of tilt, with integrated SDI, HDMI, and Ethernet pass-through to simplify cabling.
Touch-screen joystick for pan, tilt, zoom, focus, and iris
RoboStick manages the Paulinho head and Canon EOS C80 from a single station, with preset and Trace recording functions to record and reproduce complex movements, simplifying production even in multicamera setups.
