Add to cartThe Zanus Paulinho Canon C400 PTZ kit is an integrated solution designed for control rooms, television studios, conference rooms, and live events requiring professional remote control without compromising cinema camera image quality. The system combines the Zanus Paulinho robotic video head, RoboStick control joystick, and Canon EOS C400 camera.
The heart of the system is the Paulinho head, featuring a compact L-shaped structure, payload up to 5 kg, and adjustable pan/tilt speeds from 0.001 to 30°/s, capable of transforming any compatible camera into a complete PTZ system thanks to native Canon XC protocol support via Ethernet.
Control of the entire setup is managed by the RoboStick joystick, equipped with a touch-screen and dedicated controls for pan, tilt, zoom, focus, and iris, capable of simultaneously managing multiple heads and devices from different manufacturers, including AJA and Blackmagic Design SDI routers.
Completing the kit, the Canon EOS C400 features a 6K BSI full-frame CMOS sensor with 16 stops of dynamic range, Dual Pixel CMOS AF II autofocus, and internal Cinema RAW Light recording up to 6K/60p, with 12G-SDI, HDMI, Genlock, timecode, and IP streaming connectivity.
Compatibility between the three components is verified: Canon C400 and Paulinho head are explicitly supported by RoboStick, ensuring direct integration and reliable control of the entire setup from a single station.
6K BSI full frame sensor
The 6K BSI full-frame CMOS sensor offers 16 stops of dynamic range and Triple Base ISO (800/3200/12800), while internal 12-bit Cinema RAW Light recording up to 6K/60p ensures complete color grading flexibility, even in low-light studio environments.
Remote control ready
Integrated XC protocol and Ethernet for PTZ automation.
12G-SDI, HDMI, Genlock, and timecode ports ensure integration into complex broadcast control rooms, while native Canon XC protocol support via Ethernet allows direct remote control from RoboStick and Paulinho, completing the PTZ system without additional adapters.
Motorized Pan Tilt with payload up to 5 kg
With L-shaped structure, payload up to 5 kg, and adjustable speed from 0.01°/s to 30°/s, the Paulinho offers smooth movements across ±175° of pan and ±180° of tilt, with integrated SDI, HDMI, and Ethernet pass-through to simplify cabling.
Touch-screen joystick for pan, tilt, zoom, focus, and iris
RoboStick manages the Paulinho head and Canon EOS C80 from a single station, with preset and Trace recording functions to record and reproduce complex movements, simplifying production even in multicamera setups.
