Add to cartThe Canon EOS C80 PTZ Kit combines the Canon EOS C80 cinema camera, the Zanus Paulinho robotic video head, and the Zanus RoboStick control joystick in a system designed for those who don’t want to compromise cinema image quality when production requires automation and remote control. The Canon EOS C80 brings to the setup a back-illuminated stacked CMOS sensor, three base ISOs (800/3200/12800), and 16 stops of dynamic range, with recording up to 6K in Cinema RAW Light and professional 12G-SDI and HDMI outputs. The Zanus Paulinho transforms the C80 into a motorized Pan Tilt head with payload up to 5 kg, angles of ±175° in pan and ±180° in tilt, adjustable speed from 0.01°/s to 30°/s, and SDI, HDMI, and Ethernet pass-through connectivity to simplify cabling in the control room. The RoboStick completes the system with a touch-screen controller capable of managing pan, tilt, zoom, focus, and iris of the camera, plus preset functions and Trace recording to reproduce complex movements automatically. The result is a complete PTZ workflow, suitable for television studios, live events, and multi-camera control rooms, maintaining the image quality and optical flexibility typical of a cinema camera, with the remote control and repeatability of a robotic system.
Professional recording formats and high frame rates
The Canon EOS C80 brings to the kit a back-illuminated stacked CMOS sensor with three base ISOs (800/3200/12800) and 16 stops of dynamic range. Records up to 6K 30P in Cinema RAW Light and 4K 120P 10-bit 4:2:2, with 12G-SDI and HDMI outputs ready for integration in PTZ control room.
Compact, ergonomic, and intuitive design
Repositioned joystick, multi-function shoe, and professional ports (12G-SDI, HDMI, 2 mini XLR) make the C80 ready for both handheld use and fixed mounting on the Paulinho head, maintaining quick access to controls even in PTZ configuration.
Motorized Pan Tilt with payload up to 5 kg
With L-shaped structure, payload up to 5 kg, and adjustable speed from 0.01°/s to 30°/s, the Paulinho offers smooth movements across ±175° of pan and ±180° of tilt, with integrated SDI, HDMI, and Ethernet pass-through to simplify cabling.
Touch-screen joystick for pan, tilt, zoom, focus, and iris
The RoboStick manages from a single station the Paulinho head and the Canon EOS C80, with preset functions and Trace recording to record and reproduce complex movements, simplifying control room operation even in multi-camera setups.
