Specifications
The Allen & Heath QU-Pac compact digital audio mixer 22×12 I/O takes the legendary power and quality of the Qu family and reduces it
into a compact desktop or rack-mount format. The enormous processing power processing and advanced features count for nothing if you can’t possible to access the necessary controls in the blink of an eye. The 800 x 480, sixteen-million-color touchscreen and its dedicated data encoder form the heart of the interface of Qu-Pac, providing easy and super-fast access to all the settings. Dedicated buttons and screen tabs guide you quickly to meter and RTA displays, FX racks, channel processing, USB audio control, scenes, menus configuration and much more. The Qu-Control button opens a fully customizable screen that provides access to the channels and settings customized for the user and the application. Various ‘widgets’ can be assigned to the page, including the channel levels, mutes and switches for assignment on/off, and are arranged according to the user’s needs, such as source selection and background music level control for one or more zones.

Allen & Heath QU-Pac was designed from the ground up to deliver sound quality professional, from input to output. The Qu-Pac is equipped with sixteen AnalogiQ digitally controlled preamplifiers with advanced detection zero-crossing and a 1dB padding-free gain stage. The design of the AnalogiQ preamplifiers has been perfected to offer superb transparency, minimal distortion and a noise floor very low, with a warm, musical sound that is missing in some console digital. The analog signal is captured by converters high-class, low-latency 24-bit analog-to-digital converters, which are combined with 24-bit digital-to-analog converters to provide the high-quality output required.

Allen & Heath QU-Pac’s dynamics and FX algorithms are derived from those used in our pro touring series. Some of the most respected audio engineers in the world have chosen to use RackFX on tour, preferring it over high-end plug-ins and external FX units.Qu boasts
4 stereo RackFX engines, with lovingly crafted emulations of legendary classic reverbs, gated reverbs, delays, modulators, flangers and more. FX are returned to the mix on dedicated dedicated returns, so as not to constrain the mono and stereo, and each stereo FX return has a dedicated 4-band PEQ. Made of 18-gauge, cold-rolled Zintec steel, the Qu’s characteristic chassis is designed for strength and rigidity. Qu’s sleek profile generates optimal airflow through the mixer, eliminating the need for fans.
