The Allen & Heath QU-SB Portable Audio Mixer is an ultra-compact digital mixer that lets you mix from anywhere in the venue and provides a smart, portable solution for performing bands and artists. Qu-SB is portable enough to carry under an arm and comes loaded with Allen & Heath’s acclaimed suite of FX emulations and dynamics, making it a smart replacement for an old analog mixer and a rack full of external effects.
Qu-SB features sixteen digitally controlled AnalogiQ preamplifiers with advanced zero-pass detection and a 1-dB padless gain stage. The analog signal is captured by high-class, low-latency 24-bit analog-to-analog converters, which are matched with 24-bit digital-to-analog converters to provide the high-quality output required. Qu boasts 4 stereo RackFX engines, with carefully crafted emulations of legendary classic reverbs, gated reverbs, delays, modulators, flangers and more. FX are returned to the mix on dedicated return channels, so you’re not tying up your mono and stereo input channels, and each Stereo FX Return has a dedicated 4-band PEQ.
Qu-SB is designed to integrate seamlessly with the full iPad and phone app, providing super fast and easy access to all settings, including channel processing, RTA meters and views, FX racks, scene management, USB audio control, menu configuration, and more. With Qu-Pad you are free to equalize and mix monitors on stage, roam the venue while adjusting the PA, and mix the show from the heart of the audience. Qu-Pad connects via Wi-Fi and offers instant access to all live mixing parameters and settings. While Qu-You allows up to seven artists to control their own monitoring mixes using any iOS or Android device and allows the engineer to focus on mixing for the audience.
