In a compact body, the Sony RX100 VII cyber-shot with 0.02 sec AF and 1’ Exmor RS sensor – compact camera packs everything you need to take outstanding quality images: 24-200 mm zoom, ultra-fast autofocus in 0.02 s, new Real Time Tracking and Real Time Eye AF functions, optimised image stabilisation and external microphone jack for professional video shooting.

The high magnification 24-200mm zoom optimises image quality. Designed to deliver maximum resolution and full sharpness, it integrates excellent telephoto capabilities in an ultra-compact body, giving the photographer maximum freedom for creative expression.
The RX100 VII offers 357 focal plane phase-detection AF points – best in class – covering 68% of the frame. There are 425 contrast-detection AF points; autofocus capture takes just 0.02 seconds, the fastest speed in the world. Real Time Tracking is based on subject recognition (AI) algorithms that use information on colours, appearance (brightness), distance (depth), face and eyes to track subjects in their movements. By maintaining stable and constant focus on moving subjects, you can get right in the middle of the action and ‘capture’ every moment, in both stills and video footage. The large 1.0 image sensor of the Sony Cyber-shot RX100 VII AF Exmor RS has a resolution of 20.1 megapixels, backlighting and standard ISO range increased to 100-12,800. High levels of perceived resolution and low noise allow for flawless images with ultra-realistic textures. The newly developed sensor and sophisticated image processing algorithms provide ultra-realistic texture and colour reproduction, particularly accurate for natural skin tones and vivid flower colours.

The camera supports internal recording of 4K movies (QFHD: 3,840 × 2,160) with full pixel readout and zero binning. AF is stable and smooth thanks to optimised autofocus algorithms, and Real Time Tracking and Real Time Eye AF (human faces) functions are now also available for video. Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG) allows HDR images to be viewed by simply connecting the camera to an HDR-compatible Sony TV via USB cable. With a resolution of approximately 2.35 million dots, the XGA OLED Tru-Finder™ offers a clear and detailed, high-contrast view. Access is immediate thanks to the removable switch; it disappears when not in use. The high-resolution 921,000-dot type 3.0 LCD display can be tilted 180° upwards and approximately 90° downwards to ensure perfect shots in selfies and highly angled shots from above or below.
