The remote control buttons are easily accessible while holding the grip for smooth and intuitive operation. When a compatible camera is attached, the remote controls for taking photos and movies can be operated by holding the grip normally, without having to touch the camera. Any function assigned to the C1 button on the camera can also be invoked via the C1 button on the grip. Bluetooth wireless communication means that no cables are needed to transmit control signals from the grip to the camera: just frame and shoot, without the hindrance of cables. A quick tilt function makes it easy to set the camera angle, ideal for a wide range of subjects and viewpoints. Whether taking selfies or capturing a subject, the tilt function allows you to take photos without having to assume awkward postures. If you extend the built-in legs of the Sony GP-VPT2BT handle, you get a handy and stable tripod, leaving both hands free for vlogging and other applications.
