Sony FE 24mm F2.8 G Sony E-mount – Photographic lens packs the high image quality and beautiful design of the G lens into a compact form with superior build quality and intuitive operation. Easily transportable, this wide-angle fixed focal length lens is ideal for eye-catching wide-angle shots. The fast, accurate and silent autofocus is perfect for capturing important moments. High image quality is ensured by state-of-the-art optics using three aspherical elements and one ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass element, offering high resolution and eliminating halos throughout the image. A minimum focusing distance of 24 cm (AF)/18 cm (MF) ensures excellent close-ups. Subjects stand out against the blurred background. With a wide angle of view of 24 mm, the lens is also ideal for selfies with a gimbal or handgrip.
The mechanical design takes full advantage of state-of-the-art optics with a layout of three aspherical elements, and the short rear flange distance exclusive to mirrorless cameras, for amazing compactness and a weight of only 162 g. Despite its wide angle of view, the Sony FE 24mm F2.8 G lens is compatible with a wide variety of filters. Thanks to the internal focusing, the front lens element does not rotate, allowing the attachment of circular polarizing filters for landscapes, ND filters for video and more, offering additional creative control.
