A next-generation image processing system and a new sensor enable an improvement of up to 1.5 stops in image quality. Color reproduction by Sony A7III, particularly of skin and in nature scenes, has also been significantly improved. Eye AF now supports AF-C mode with higher accuracy, which significantly improves portrait shots, and also offers higher AF speed, which makes it easier to take portraits of a moving subject. The Sony FE 24-105mm f/4.0 G OSS lens by A73 makes it possible to portray a wide range of subjects and situations. A minimum focusing distance of 0.38 meters and built-in optical image stabilization further optimize versatility. Constant maximum F4 aperture over the entire zoom range maintains brightness even when changing focal length. The AF Direct Drive SSM (DDSSM) ensures fast, accurate and quiet focusing, while the optical design minimizes focus breathing to make the FE 24-105mm F4 G OSS an ideal choice for stills and video.
