With more pixels and higher resolution than the A7 III, the A74 and powerful Exmor R sensor are a major evolution of Sony’s original image technology for improvements beyond the numbers. Discover new levels of colour gradation and detail rendition and soft, natural human skin textures. The Sony Alpha A7 IV full-frame 33-megapixel camera’s stabilisation unit and gyro sensors work together with image stabilisation algorithms for up to 5.5-step shutter speed compensation and high-resolution performance of the 33.0 MP sensor. The unique subject recognition algorithm collects data on colour, pattern (brightness) and distance (depth) to quickly process real-time spatial information. The AI detects and tracks eyes and faces (of humans, animals or birds) with extreme precision. You choose a subject and the camera does the rest.
