Purchase in PRE-ORDER Canon EOS C400 with Canon RF-mount, the flagship camera for filming, live broadcasting and virtual productions. Equipped with a BSI (Back Side Illuminated) sensor, already present in the Canon EOS R3, all connections are located on the rear of the light-sensitive surface, ensuring maximum brightness and fantastic noise reduction. The 16-stop dynamic range and advanced Triple Base ISO system also contribute to the outstanding image quality of the C400. By choosing the base ISO most suitable for each lighting situation (800/3200/12800), you can capture stunning images even in low-light conditions. The EOS C400 features the latest Dual Pixel CMOS AF II for extremely fast automatic focus. The entire autofocus area extends to the absolute edges of the frame. Thanks to the Eye, Face, Head, and Body AF profiles, focus remains on the subject at all times. You can also shoot in 6K at 60fps, capturing up to 120fps in 4K with autofocus or 180fps in 2K. The camera features 4:2:2 10-bit video and new XF-HEVC S and XF-AVC S (MP4) codecs for fast and efficient file transfer.
The camera’s features include two tally lights, a multifunctional hotshoe with 21 pins, 12G-SDI connection, XLR, DIN, HDMI, USB-C, Ethernet, and WiFi. The camera is equipped with Genlock and is compatible with remote control, useful for example when controlling two cameras simultaneously. The RF mount makes the camera extremely versatile. The wide range of lenses, each with its unique properties, allows you to create the perfect combination for every scene. Since the camera and lens work together seamlessly, you can benefit from the best of both worlds. For example, you can combine the camera’s image stabilization with that of the lens to achieve smooth hand-held footage. Additionally, the EOS C400 is also compatible with the Canon PL-RF adapter, which allows you to use PL lenses on this camera as well.
