Nanlite returns with the Nanlite Forza 60B II LED Light – New Version, a completely new look 3 years after its debut and a user-centered design. Forza 60B II takes many aspects to the next level without compromising the strengths of the first generation, such as interaction, control and noise management, etc. Nanlite manages to make it as close to perfection as possible with improved performance and user experience. The Nanlite Forza 60B II bi-color LED projector is small enough to fit in one hand, yet powerful enough to deliver 14350 Lux, 1333 fc of light at 5600K at 1 meter and a versatile color temperature range of 2700K-6500K. It is suitable for professional production with durable build quality, control options for Bluetooth, 2.4G and DMX/RDM, a glass-protected COB, a compact AC adapter, and the ability to run on a V-Mount battery or NP-F batteries with the included BH-FZ60 handle (the V-Mount handle is sold separately). The 60B II projector has a CRI of 96 and a TLCI of 98.
This second generation model features improvements across the board, such as 15% more power, up to 28.5% longer battery life, and a 10 dBA quieter fan. A useful 45-degree mini-reflector is included, and an ecosystem of FM-Mount modifiers, such as the Fresnel FL-11 (sold separately), increases output to 34700 Lux (3223.7 fc). The included Bowens adapter has an umbrella mount and makes the 60B II compatible with a large number of light-shapers. A padded carrying case that holds everything is included. A USB port allows firmware upgrades to add new features in the future, and also provides 5V1A power for wireless DMX receivers (sold separately).
Forza 60B II has a feature that debuted in the top-of-the-line Forza 720B model: the Maximum Output mode and the Constant Output mode. Maximum Output mode provides the maximum possible brightness for the current CCT setting. Constant Output mode maintains the same selected output brightness regardless of the CCT setting. This makes it possible to change the CCT on the set without having to adjust other equipment, such as camera settings, to account for the brightness changes that occur when changing the color temperature.
