The Hoya Variable Density II 72 mm ND filter is a variable ND filter from ND 0.45 to ND 2.6, with continuous adjustment from 1.5 to 9 stops and anti-reflective coatings on the glass.
Compared to the previous version, the Variable Density II line features additional anti-reflective coatings on the glass surface, reducing unwanted reflections and glare. The thinner mount is designed to reduce the risk of vignetting, while the outer diameter is slightly larger. A small knob makes it easy to set the desired darkening level.
The filter is designed for photographers and videomakers working in variable lighting conditions: density can be adjusted directly during shooting, without having to swap the filter mounted on the lens. Check the Hoya Variable Density II 72 mm price and current availability on the Martcom product page. The package includes the filter and a protective case.
