With the Dual Pixel CMOS AF II focusing system, programmed using AI with deep learning technology to recognise people, animals and vehicles, shooting moving subjects is easy. Even more so with high-speed continuous shooting at 15 fps, or 23 fps, the EOS R10’s silent electronic shutter and simultaneous AF and AE. A 24.2 megapixel sensor captures exceptional detail, even in low light, with a wide dynamic range and a maximum sensitivity of ISO 32,000 (expandable to ISO 51,200). The Canon EOS R10 shoots in 4K and for maximum quality, it is recommended to use the EOS R10’s 4K/30p mode with oversampling from the 6K sensor data, or the 4K/60p mode for incredibly smooth motion. You can connect Wi-Fi and upload to cloud storage services via image.canon.
A 4K that exceeds all expectations
The EOS R10 camera delivers stunning 4K video, with UHD resolution and the ability to crop without loss of quality during editing. It supports 4K/60p for smooth motion and slow motion, and 4K/30p oversampled by its 24.2 megapixel sensor, for incredibly detailed and sharp images.
The APS-C advantage
Because the EOS R10 is centred on an APS-C sensor, the lenses offer a multiplication factor of 1.6 times that of lenses with the same focal length on a full frame camera. Get as close as possible to your subject to shoot wildlife and action scenes, making great-looking videos.
Automatic and perfect
The EOS R10 recognises people, vehicles and animals, such as dogs, cats and birds, keeping focus on fast-moving subjects. When shooting people, it focuses on the eyes, and if not visible, the face. If the subject turns, it follows the head first, then the body, ensuring accurate focus.
Capture the moment
In RAW continuous shooting mode, the EOS R10 shoots at up to 30 fps with 75% cropping, storing images in a single video file for easy management. Photos can be extracted and edited with the free Digital Photo Professional (DPP) software. The pre-shot function also captures 0.5 seconds before the shot is taken.
