It consists of nine elements divided into seven groups, with an aspherical PMo lens providing excellent colour rendition and sharp, high-contrast images. The lens’ STM motor offers silent focusing and extreme smoothness, is fast for stills and gives videos a cinematic look. The RF 16mm F/2.8 STM weighs only 165g and has a short length of 40.2mm, allowing it to be left attached to the camera all day or stored in the kit for use when needed. It also transforms into a wide-angle 25.6mm lens when shooting in crop mode, ideal for content creators who are looking for more options, effectively acting as a second lens.
