V-lock 290Wh Swit PB-R290S+ battery for Sony and Red cameras is a 290Wh V-mount battery with a sealed, heavy-duty, dual chamber design. The battery supports high load, fast charging and digital display of power information for field applications. It is weatherproof and the dual housing with rubber cover is also strong enough to survive any drop from 1.5 metres. Consisting of 24 pieces of high-class 18650 batteries, it achieves a high capacity of 290Wh / 20.1Ah. It can run about 11 hours for normal ENG cameras and about 3.5 hours for ARRI ALEXA. PB-R290S+ has the innovative 8 LED power indicators. When free or charging, the LEDs will indicate the current capacity percentage, and when the battery is discharging, the LEDs will display the remaining operating time at the current discharge power, accurate to 15 minutes. The battery adopts intelligent SMBUS compatible with the SONY and RED camera information system and can display the remaining minutes on the camera viewfinder. Thanks to the DC D-tap 10A output socket on the top side, other on-camera equipment can be powered together.
