Tiffen 4 x 5,65″ solid ND filter 0.9 is a neutral density filter that offers an exposure reduction of 3 stop. This creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to shoot with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By slowing the exposure time or increasing the aperture, depth of field can be controlled and motion can be more easily transmitted. Neutral density filters do not affect image coloration and are ideal for combining with other filters. This filter is made with ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between two pieces of optical glass and grinding it flat to a tolerance of 1/10.000 of an inch. This filter measures 4 x 5,65″ / 101,6 x 143,5 mm. The solid ND filter darkens the image, allowing photography with a longer shutter speed or wider aperture than normally required. Providing an exposure reduction of 3 stop, this filter allows you to control depth of field and more easily convey motion. The filter does not affect image coloration and is ideal for use with other filters.
