Smallrig 3665 half cage for Blackmagic 6K Pro Pocket Cinema Camera is designed to be securely mounted on the camera body. It offers the strength and structure needed to attach all types of accessories thanks to its 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads, NATO rail skeleton and female cold shoe connection. You can quickly switch from a tripod to a motorised gimbal or shoulder rig using the threaded holes that connect to a quick-release coupling (available separately). The three-point anti-twist locking system helps prevent unwanted rotation during shooting. This lightweight and durable aluminium, stainless steel and silicone gel cage has been ergonomically designed to enable all-day shooting.
The Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro reaches its full potential when combined with a set of monitors, larger batteries, lens hoods, etc. The Smallrig 3665 half-cage allows you to attach kilos and kilos of optional equipment, much more than you would otherwise be able to use with the BMPCC 6K Pro (available separately). These connect via the 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads, NATO rail skeleton and cold shoe attachment.
Threaded holes in the base allow the use of an external quick release system (available separately). The three-screw locking method prevents unwanted rotation to keep the lens pointed downwards.
