The compact and lightweight design is significantly smaller than equivalent lenses on the market. The apochromatic optical design offers exceptional optical quality even at maximum magnification of 2X. The magnification range of 0.1 to 2X allows subjects of different sizes to be captured with a single lens: the maximum magnification of 2X allows the smallest details of the subject to be captured, without the need for extension tubes, or super close-up shots. The optics retain the ability to focus at infinity.
The apochromatic design allows for excellent control of chromatic aberrations in both in-focus and out-of-focus areas, while also minimising ghost images, resulting in extremely high optical quality.
As a result, post-production time can be significantly reduced.
The mirrorless-optimised design enables better harmonisation and balance with the mirrorless camera system. The optical structure of 13 elements in 10 groups (including 3 elements for dispersion reduction) for outstanding optical quality from one end of the image to the other.
Sharpness is extremely high compared to more expensive competitors and higher at f/8.
The 13-blade shutter creates a pleasant creamy bokeh effect on out-of-focus areas.
The internal focusing design prevents shocks between the lens and surrounding objects, while preventing dust and particles from entering the lens.
