The Laowa Venus Optics 60mm f/2.8 Ultra-Macro 2:1 for Nikon F – photographic lens offers the unique ability to photograph close subjects at 2.4″ distance with a 2:1 magnification ratio, as well as distant subjects at infinity focus and 0.1x magnification. The versatility offered by this lens with manual focus and manual aperture selection allows you to work with close subjects and quickly switch to full-frame subjects at a distance, without the need for extension tubes or other adapters. Laowa Venus Optics 60mm f/2.8 Ultra-Macro 2:1 is optimised for use on APS-C format sensors, where it will provide a focal length equivalent to 90 mm, and can also be used on full-frame format DSLRs. The lens construction comprises nine elements in seven groups, and two of the lens groups move to control focus and avoid barrel distortion. This design helps maintain high sharpness and colour accuracy. The rounded 14-blade diaphragm contributes to smooth out-of-focus quality, which is particularly useful when working with close subjects and selective focusing techniques.
