Blackmagic Design HyperDeck Extreme 8K HDR is an 8K recorder that features a large display with standard touchscreen controls for viewing recordings. It also has physical controls on the left side and two CFast card slots on the right. Ideally, it would be used in conjunction with the optional HyperDeck Extreme Control deck, which provides traditional deck control functions with a built-in editor to automate the ingest of legacy videotape-based programming. The HyperDeck Extreme 8K HDR for video capture offers a large touchscreen for image monitoring, complete with Play, Start, Stop, and mini timeline buttons for scrolling back and forth through video, even in jog mode. The LCD display shows overlays of timecode, video standards, remaining memory, audio levels and more.
