Specifications
Canon Speedlite MR-14EX II macro ring lite flash with its unique ring design provides even illumination of small subjects, making it ideal for nature photographers shooting flowers and insects as well as for those engaged in specialised scientific applications. The E-TTL II readout makes flash exposure easy and accurate. It can be used as a wireless optical transmitter in a multiple flash configuration, triggering other Speedlite flashes set in receiver mode. This is useful when using a second flash to illuminate a background, for example.
The twin flash tubes can be independently varied in six-stop gradations, allowing for different lighting styles. Use both tubes evenly for a shadow-free effect, or make one tube brighter than the other for lighting that emphasises shapes. The Macro Ring Lite MR-14EX II’s flash head can be rotated around the lens, allowing the dominant light source to come from all angles.
