Blackmagic ATEM SDI Pro ISO Switcher for streaming and broadcast is a four-input live production switcher with integrated control panel, designed for multi-camera live streaming of up to HD video over the Internet via Ethernet output. It features a USB output that allows the programme output and individual 3G-SDI inputs to be recorded to an external USB drive (not included). In addition to recording the programme stream and individual inputs, it also records the embedded audio and analogue audio inputs, generating a DaVinci Resolve project file of the live stream. This allows the live production to be brought into DaVinci Resolve to make changes or adjustments using the source material already on the USB stick.
ATEM SDI Pro ISO has new electronics that enable ISO recording and DaVinci project file generation. It supports upstream and downstream keyer functions, an advanced chroma keyer, two linear/luma keyers, a DVE transition keyer, a pattern generator and colour generators. A media player for fill and key images is also available, supporting up to 20 frames in PNG, TGA, BMP, JPEG and TIFF formats. The ATEM software control panel is used for control and configuration and allows monitoring of data rate, audio counters, configuration and live broadcast status. In addition, the panel can be used to set up streaming to an optional Blackmagic Design Streaming Bridge anywhere in the world, as long as it is connected to the Internet. Available transitions include cut, mix, dip, rub, DVE.
