The Blackmagic DeckLink Quad 3G-SDI card for DeckLink 4K Extreme 12G is a replacement for the original card supplied with the Decklink 4K Extreme 12G PCIe card. It features four BNC connectors that support 3G-SDI. The four connectors are grouped into two input and two output connectors that work together with the four 12G-SDI connectors on the main card. Replacing the original (mezzanine) card with this one expands the input and output capabilities of your card. Replacing the original card with the HDMI/fiber optic output with the Quad 3G-SDI card allows you to input and output a Quad 3G-SDI signal, which the main card cannot do on its own. Another input/output capability of the Blackmagic DeckLink Quad 3G-SDI card is to input a 12G-SDI signal and output a Quad 3G-SDI signal.
