Blackmagic ATEM Talkback Converter 4K for broadcast and live production

The Blackmagic ATEM Talkback Converter 4K for broadcast and live production connects up to 8 cameras for SDI talkback, using channels 15 and 16 with embedded audio from Blackmagic Studio Cameras and the ATEM Camera Converter. It supports 12G-SDI for all SD, HD and Ultra HD formats up to 2160p60, boasts BNC connections per camera, and offers an SFP transceiver for fibre optics to cover longer distances. The Blackmagic ATEM Talkback Converter 4K features push buttons for talking, inputs for avionics and consumer headphones, loop outputs to connect more than 8 cameras, built-in speaker, front microphone input and more. The unit has a built-in speaker and microphone inputs, as well as a headphone jack for when you need privacy, or the area is too noisy. When connected to the ATEM camera converter, there’s no need to worry about walkie talkies. Using the talkback function, the unit uses audio channels 15 and 16 of the SDI stream for talkback communication. Camera operators can be selected individually, if desired, and communication can be controlled by a button or blocked. Mute and un-mute buttons on the front of the unit allow you to control who hears what. The unit passes SDI Tally signal information to the cameras along with any SDI Program signal from the available switchers.
