With 10G Ethernet on the Blackmagic ATEM Studio Converter all camera signals require only one Ethernet IP connection. One cable carries video, program and reference return signals, timecode, tally, talkback and camera control. It offers the same benefits as SMPTE fibre, but the standard copper 10G Ethernet cable is much cheaper. Blackmagic ATEM Studio Converter – SDI video converter distributes all video, audio and talkback connections in the studio area. It even includes a powerful power source that feeds the camera through the Ethernet cable. The Studio Converter has a built-in screen that displays the image from the camera and relevant information.
