Specifications
The Blackmagic ATEM Studio Converter 2 signal distributor is the perfect complement to the ATEM Camera Converter. It connects up to 4 ATEM Camera Converters over a distance of 45km via fibre optic cables, carrying bi-directional video, tally and talkback. The ATEM Studio Converter receives the program output from the ATEM switcher and distributes it to 4 ATEM Camera Converters. If there are more than 4 cameras, additional ATEM Studio Converter units can be interconnected. The Blackmagic ATEM Studio Converter 2 signal distributor can also be used as 4 independent and simultaneous bi-directional SD/HD-SDI to optical converters. The Blackmagic ATEM Studio Converter 2 signal distributor has a built-in microphone input, speaker and headphone jack that provides talkback audio for communicating with camera operators. The converter passes the embedded tally signals into the SDI programme stream. Multiple ATEM Studio Converter units can be cascaded when using more than 4 cameras. The Studio Converter has a 1 U design with built in rack mount ears for easy integration into existing studio setups or production cases.
