Now it is easy to expand the MADI input of ATEM Television Studio switchers to connect additional microphones or audio sources from external mixers. Blackmagic ATEM Microphone Converter with MADI inputs connects directly to the MADI input of ATEM Television Studio and is ready to use. By connecting several in cascade, even more sources can be added. The converter has 4 analog inputs with mic/line selection and phantom power. Its design ensures outstanding audio quality, with extremely low noise floor, wide dynamic range and very low distortion. It even makes use of 8 separate ADCs on each input to extend the overall dynamic range and allows monitoring via the HDMI output with sliding waveforms.
