The S-8D98 battery is equipped with a 5.5/2.1mm DC output socket for connection to 7.2V DC (nominal). You can connect the camera LED light, monitor or wireless transmitter to the plug socket and obtain power at the same time as the camera. The maximum power of the plug socket is 30 W, 4 A.
By connecting your smartphone or pad to the USB socket and pressing the “Check” button, the S-8D98 will start delivering 5V/1A power to charge your device. The S-8D98 has 4-level LED power indicators to check the remaining battery capacity. You can get a quick view of the capacity before use. The S-8D98 can be charged with Panasonic’s original charger DE-A88, dual-channel charger S-3602D or 4-channel charger LC-D421 for the S-8D98, which takes approximately 6 hours to charge from empty to 100%.
