Shogun CONNECT builds on the pedigree of Shogun’s innovative product line. Every detail has been redesigned from the ground up to make Shogun CONNECT the most powerful and versatile device ever created by Atomos. It is compatible with a wide range of digital cinema, mirrorless and DSLR cameras. It monitors HDR sources up to 8K and uses AtomOS tools to perfect every shot, including even full support for Atomos Cloud Studio.

Featuring a super-bright 7-inch 2000nit screen and multiple recording options, Shogun CONNECT offers a premium experience for HDR monitoring and RAW recording. It also includes loop-through and cross-conversion capabilities via the 12G SDI-IN and OUT interface. Shogun CONNECT supports SDI RAW inputs up to 6K at 30fps. It can simultaneously transmit standard YCC video via SDI and HDMI to multiple non-RAW compatible devices. As expected from an Atomos device, Shogun CONNECT combines high-quality monitoring and many industry-standard recording formats. It also transforms digital cinema, mirrorless, and DSLR cameras into devices that support a range of advanced cloud-based workflows. The new daylight-visible and highly responsive 7-inch SuperAtom IPS touchscreen is perfect for outdoor use, even in direct sunlight.

All the controls are there to make the necessary adjustments to enable Shogun CONNECT to perform equally well in dark environments. From individuals to large-scale film productions, Shogun CONNECT was built to fit any camera rig. It features a versatile mount that can be adapted to a variety of industry-standard equipment from a wide range of manufacturers. Once locked in place, the attachment is highly secure and offers anti-rotation settings, so you can count on Shogun CONNECT to remain in place at all times. Shogun CONNECT offers a full range of monitoring tools, including waveform, focus peaking, false color, and framing guides, to help you achieve the correct composition and exposure.

AtomOS software is so easy to use and the control it offers over images for exposure, framing, or focus. Shogun CONNECT is based on the latest ATOMOS processor, the AtomIC3. The processor offers all the performance needed to handle the demands of the latest cameras. It can handle higher frame rates and higher resolutions. The AtomRemote app for iOS and macOS offers a range of external controls for Shogun CONNECT. The app enables a range of configuration and operations up to 15 meters away from the device via Bluetooth. For monitoring, AtomRemote can be used to control playback, choose monitoring modes, apply custom 3D LUTs, or view image analysis tools including exposure and focus. Output controls include options for 4K to HD switching, LUT preview, and HDR output. Shogun CONNECT supports popular log formats from ARRI, Canon, Fuji, JVC, Nikon, Panasonic, RED, and Sony. These can be used to preview SDR or HDR LUTs in real time. You can upload your own custom LUTs in .cube format to any of the 8 LUT slots for monitoring, looping out or burning into your recording. Simply select the LUT files (*.cube) from the removable SSD drive.
