The Tilta TA-QRTH-B Quick Release Top Handle is a top handle for film rigs, designed for quick mounting on Tiltaing cages via cold shoe and integrated spring screw.
The handle is equipped with two integrated cold shoe mounts (one at the front with a spring-loaded safety lever, one at the rear) for mounting accessories such as microphones, monitors or LEDs. It also incorporates a 15 mm rod port with locking lever, useful for mounting EVF mirrors or riggable elements on a 15 mm bar. The handle body features numerous 1/4‘‑20 and 3/8’‑16 threads, some with anti-twist divots (anti-rotation channels) to ensure that accessories do not rotate under stress.
The quick release mode allows for quick attachment and detachment thanks to the spring-loaded screw mechanism, facilitating the transition between rigid and compact configurations.
Compatible with Tilta ‘half’ and “full” cages, but can also be mounted ‘backwards’ on some top plates, the TA‑QRTH‑B is ideal for modular rigging: it provides additional stable grip and numerous accessory mounting options, while maintaining flexibility and lightness in run-and-gun or gimbal shooting configurations.
